Who caters Indian and Asian weddings in London?
Passage to India is a Hounslow-based Indian wedding caterer and event manager that has catered weddings across London and the South East for over twenty-five years. Food is cooked fresh by our own chefs under Chef Ranjeet Johar, twice CIEH National Curry Chef of the Year, and one event manager runs your day from first tasting to last dance.

Mehndi
Relaxed, colourful food for the mehndi night: chaat, pakora, paneer tikka and a sweet table, served as a buffet or passed around while the henna is applied.

Sangeet & engagement
Canapés and live-feeling starters for a night of dancing: cocktail samosa, malai tikka, mini aloo tikki and Amritsari fish, then a full dinner.

Ceremony morning
Breakfast menus for the Anand Karaj or pheras: samosa, pakora, mixed paratha or chole bhature, masala tea and a barfi platter, served at the gurdwara, temple or venue.

Reception
The main event. Canapés on arrival, starters, a full main course and dessert, served as a buffet, at the table or as silver service for hundreds or for thousands.
Everything, one team.
Through long-standing partners we supply everything a wedding needs beyond the food, with one event manager accountable for all of it. Venue rules come first: some venues have their own approved décor or catering lists, and we will tell you exactly what applies at yours.

Questions couples ask us.
How far ahead should we book our wedding caterer?
As soon as you have a date and a venue shortlist. Popular Saturdays in summer and the main wedding season go first, and the venue often needs to approve the caterer early.
Can you cater a wedding at our venue?
We cater at more than twenty venues across London and the South East and many more by arrangement. Some venues only allow caterers from their own approved list, so tell us the venue and we will confirm before you book.
Do you cater for vegetarian, Jain or other dietary needs?
Yes. Dietary requirements are part of every brief. Our vegetarian menu runs to dozens of dishes, and we plan separate preparation where a family needs it.
Where is the food cooked?
In our own kitchen in Hounslow, by our own chefs. Nothing leaves the kitchen without Chef Ranjeet Johar's approval.
Do you also manage the rest of the event?
Yes. Our event managers coordinate décor, mandap, stage, toast master, DJ, cake and fruit displays through our partners, so you deal with one team.
